Statute:

An Act Respecting the Halifax Convention Centre

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Inclusive Economic Growth dated June 3, 2021, and pursuant to

Section 8 of

Chapter 35 of the Acts of 2014,

An Act Respecting the Halifax Convention Centre , is pleased to:

a) appoint Nancy Eke-Agu of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of four years commencing July 3, 2021;

b) appoint Mike Uberoi of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of four years commencing July 3, 2021; and

c) determine that Nancy Eke-Agu and Mike Uberoi will be remunerated for their service as members of the Board in the amount of $150 per day and will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling their duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
