OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated July 23, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness Capital Grants Program, is pleased, effective August 15, 2024, to: (

a) approve the Minister of Health and Wellness granting capital funding to the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the IWK Health Centre for purposes of six (6) capital projects; and (

b) authorize the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the IWK Health Centre entering into net debt obligations by acquiring tangible capital assets, in the form of six (6) capital projects and two (2) capital leases, and to execute such agreements or other documents as may be required in connection with such transactions.
