OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated July 31, 2014, and pursuant to Sections 6 and 7 of
Chapter 20 of the Acts of 1990, the Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Akivah Starkman of Halifax Regional Municipality (Prospect) as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of two (2) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
b) appoint David Nurse of Sunnybrook, Lunenburg County, as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of two (2) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
c) re-appoint Gary Walsh of North River Bridge, Victoria County, as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of two (2) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
d) appoint Gerald Weseen of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of three (3) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
e) appoint Laura Emery of Mulgrave, Guysborough County, as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of two (2) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
f) appoint Sharon Johnson-Legere of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of three (3) years commencing August 28, 2014; (
g) appoint Marie Comeau of Little Brook, Digby County, as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia for a term of three (3) years commencing August 28, 2014; and (
h) authorize the payment of $100.00 per day plus reasonable expenses to the members of the Board for work involving Film and Creative Industries Nova Scotia.
