OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated December 17, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and subsection 10(1) of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective February 1, 2021, to: (

a) appoint Paula Bond as Associate Deputy Minister of the Department of Health and Wellness; (

b) designate Paula Bond as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; (

c) fix and determine the salary for Paula Bond to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier in accordance with the Senior Officials Pay Plan as it applies to Associate Deputy Ministers; and (

d) direct that Paula Bond shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan and such other benefits as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier.
