OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and the Minister of the Environment dated August 20, 2008, and pursuant to Sections 7 and 23 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act; and

Section 19 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 2008: (

a) to amend Order in Council 2005-147 dated March 31, 2005, by: (

i) striking out "$300,000" in clause (

b) and substituting "$600,000"; and (ii) striking out "over the next three years" in clause (

c) and substituting "on or before December 31, 2008"; (

b) to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
