Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act Education Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education and Culture dated March 11, 1999, pursuant to Sections 9 and 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, and

Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1995-96, the Education Act,is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Education and Culture to sell and convey to TR3LC Sherwood Park Incorporated or its nominees, the property more particularly described in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, which sale shall be on such terms and conditions as are satisfactory to the Minister; (

b) authorize the Minister of Education and Culture on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to execute such documents and agreements as may be required in connection with such sale and conveyance; (

c) direct the Minister of Education and Culture to forward the proceeds of the sale to the Minister of Finance for the Province of Nova Scotia to be deposited to the credit of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia in an appropriate account; (

d) authorize the Minister of Education and Culture to execute a service agreement, respecting a school known as Sherwood Park School at or near Sydney, Cape Breton County, in substantially the form attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation as

Schedule "B", with such amendments as he may deem appropriate; and (

e) authorize the Minister of Education and Culture to execute such other documents and agreements as may be required to give effect to this Order and the transactions herein referred to.
