CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Livestock Investment Tax Credit Act (Assented to December 13, 1985) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Livestock Investment Tax Credit Amendment Act, 1985. S.S. 1983-84, c.L-25.1, new

section 6.1 The following

section is added after

section of The Livestock Investment Tax Credit Act: Other ownership interests “6.1(1) The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations permitting any persons or classes of persons who, in the opinion of the minister, have an interest in livestock to apply for and receive a tax credit in accordance with this Act and the regulations in respect of that livestock provided that no tax credit is payable to any other eligible claimant in respect of the same livestock. “

(2) The provisions of this Act apply mutatis mutandis to any person who is permitted to apply for and receive a tax credit pursuant to regulations made pursuant to subsection (1). “

(3) Regulations made pursuant to this

section may be made retroactive to a day not earlier than June 1, 1984”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and deemed to have been in force on and from June 1, 1984. REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN Printed by the authority of THE QUEEN’S PRINTER
