Order in Council 1151/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Conway Fraser of Ayr was appointed as a member of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority by Order in Council O.C. 367/2019, effective March 7, 2019 for a period not exceeding three years,

And

whereas subsection 2(2) of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority Act , as amended, provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint a Chair from the nine members of the Authority,

And

whereas Conway Fraser of Ayr was appointed Chair of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority, on an interim basis, by Order in Council O.C. 907/2019, effective June 6, 2019 for a period of three months, or ending when a new Chair is appointed, whichever occurs first,

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of said Act, as amended,

Conway Fraser of Ayr

be appointed, as Chair of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority, on an interim basis, effective the date this Order in Council is made, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council ending March 1, 2020 or when a new Chair is appointed, whichever occurs first.

Order in Council O.C. 907/2019 dated June 6, 2019 is hereby revoked, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
