CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Snowmobile Act (Assented to May 30, 2018) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Snowmobile (Fees) Amendment Act, 2018. RSS c S-52 amended The Snowmobile Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended The following clause is added after clause 41(1)(t): “(t.1) for the purposes of subsection 42(3), prescribing the manner in which the administrator shall use any fees it collects from certificates of registration”. New

section

Section is repealed and the following substituted: “Fees 42(1) Subject to subsection (2), the administrator shall pay over to the general revenue fund the fees it collects for: (

a) driver ’s licences; and (

b) registration permits.

(2) The administrator may retain from the fees mentioned in subsection (1) any moneys designated by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

(3) The administrator shall use any fees it collects from certificates of registration in the manner prescribed in the regulations”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on assent, but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on and from April 1, 2018.
