Order in Council 1653/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024

April 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024 , c. 27, which amend the Christopher’s Law (Sex Offender Registry), 2000 , come into force:

Schedule 3, s. 1, 2 (1), (2), (5), 3-10, 12-14.
