CATHODIC PROTECTION TECHNICIAN EXECEPTION

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Education on December 15, 2014 pursuant to

section 22.1(1) of the Apprenticeship

and Industry Training Act.

1 The Cathodic Protection Technician Exception

Regulation (AR 16/2013) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1(1) is amended by adding the following after

clause (h):

(i) "VAC" means volts of alternating current.

Section 3 is amended

(

a) in subsection (2)(b)

(

i) in subclause (

i) by adding "output" before

"readings";

(ii) in subclause (iii) by striking out "and replacing

rectifier components";

(iii) by repealing subclause (

v) and substituting the

following:

(

v) measuring input voltage up to a maximum of 240

VAC,

(iv) in subclause (vi) by striking out "and

decommissioning" and by adding "and" at the end

of subclause (vi);

(

v) by adding the following after subclause (vi):

(vii) if the rectifier is locked out and tagged out,

replacing rectifier components and performing

decommissioning checks.

(

b) in subsection (3) by striking out "may install" and

substituting "shall install or uninstall".

Section 4 is repealed.

1 The Dispositions (Ministerial) Regulation (AR 101/98) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 13 is amended by striking out "March 1, 2015" and

substituting "March 1, 2020".

Protection of Children Abusing Drugs Act

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN ABUSING DRUGS ACT COURT FORMS

AND PROCEDURES AMENDMENT REGULATION

19, 2014 pursuant to

section 12 of the Protection of Children Abusing Drugs Act.

1 The Protection of Children Abusing Drugs Act Court

Forms and Procedures Regulation (AR 138/2006) is

amended by this Regulation.

2 The title is amended by striking out "ACT COURT

FORMS AND PROCEDURES".

3 The following is added after

section 3.1:

Conveyance of child to protective safe house

3.2(1) In this section, "protection order" means a protection order

containing a provision referred to in

section 2.1(4) of the Act.

(2) For greater certainty, for the purposes of

section 2.1(6) of the

Act, a police officer is not required to exercise the police officer's

authority under a protection order until the Co-ordinator advises the

police officer or the police service of which the police officer is a

member that

(

a) there is space available to confine the child in a protective

safe house that, in the opinion of the Co-ordinator, is

appropriate to the child's needs, and

(

b) in the opinion of the Co-ordinator, the timing is appropriate

to admit the child to such a protective safe house.

Pipeline Act

PIPELINE RULES (EXTENSION OF EXPIRY DATE)

AMENDMENT REGULATION

For information only: Made by the Alberta Energy Regulator on December 18, 2014

pursuant to

section 3 of the Pipeline Act.

1 The Pipeline Rules (AR 91/2005) are amended by this

Regulation.

Section 88 is repealed and the following is substituted:

Expiry

88 For the purpose of ensuring that these Rules are reviewed for

ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that they may be

repassed in their present or an amended form following a review,

these Rules expire on January 31, 2025.

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Education on December 18, 2014 pursuant to

section 37(2) of the Apprenticeship and

Industry Training Act.

1 The Gas Utility Operator Occupation Regulation

(AR 278/2000) is amended in

section 5 by striking out

"March 31, 2015" and substituting "March 31, 2021".

2 The Oil and Gas Transportation Services Occupation

Regulation (AR 275/2004) is amended in

section 15 by

striking out "March 31, 2015" and substituting "March 31,

2018".

3 The Well Testing Services Supervisor Occupation

Regulation (AR 276/2004) is amended in

section 4 by

striking out "March 31, 2015" and substituting "March 31,

2018".
