OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General dated February 21, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 29 of

Chapter 100 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Corporations Miscellaneous Provisions Act , is pleased to: (

a) convey a parcel of land located at Lawrence Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, currently identified as PID 00243493 (Lot 5), and more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown outlined in bold on the survey in

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Broadway Properties Limited, or its permitted successors or assigns, for the purchase price of $58,000.00; (

b) authorize the Attorney General to make, execute and deliver a deed of conveyance in such form as the Attorney General determines, provided that the following conditions precedent are completed by Broadway Properties Limited: (

i) pay the purchase price of $58,000.00 to the Department of Justice, (ii) pay the Department of Justice fees in the amount of $750.00, (iii) pay any arrears of the real property taxes assessed on the land, (iv) migrate title to the land at their own cost, and (

v) provide an indemnity to His Majesty the King in right of the Province of Nova Scotia for any claims against the Province arising from the land or His Majesty's conveyance of the land to them, on terms and conditions acceptable to the Attorney General; and (

c) authorize the Attorney General to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
