B.C. Reg. 367/2002, deposited December 19, 2002, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [section 35], the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Section
26] and the MISCELLANEOUS STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2), 2002 [section 27]. Order in Council 1134/2002, approved and ordered December 18, 2002.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective January 1, 2003,
(
a) sections 2 to 5 of the Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 3),
2002 , S.B.C. 2002, c. 63, are brought into force,
(
b) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended according to the attached
Schedule 1, and
(
c) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended according to the attached
Schedule 2. — M. COELL, Minister of Human Resources; C. CLARK, Presiding Member of the Executive Council .
Schedule 1
The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 29 (1) (a), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
a) to (
c) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
a) of the Act",
(
b) in
section 29 (1) (b), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
d) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
b) of the Act",
(
c) in
section 29 (3) (a), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
a) to (
c) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
a) of the Act", and
(
d) in
section 29 (3) (b), by striking out "for the default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
d) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 13 (1) (
b) of the Act".
Schedule 2
The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 25 (1) (a), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
a) to (
c) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
a) of the Act",
(
b) in
section 25 (1) (b), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
d) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
b) of the Act",
(
c) in
section 25 (3) (a), by striking out "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
a) to (
c) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
a) of the Act", and
(
d) in
section 25 (3) (b), by striking out "for the default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
d) of the Act" and substituting "for a default referred to in
section 12 (1) (
b) of the Act".
