section 3, the balance sheet accounts of the Corporation on May 5, 1988 must reflect the assets and liabilities shown on the March 31, 1988 balance sheet of the Northern Canada Power Commission adjusted to take into account the operations of the Northern Canada Power Commission from March 31, 1988 to May 5, 1988 and the capital structure set out in the Capital Structure Regulations.

The balance sheet accounts of the Corporation do not include the assets and liabilities excluded from the acquisition of the Northern Canada Power Commission as described in the acquisition agreement dated May 5, 1988 between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Northwest Territories and related parties. 2.
