Section 2 of the Golden Horn Area Development Regulations is amended by adding the following definition “‘child care centre program’ has the same meaning as in the Child Care Act ; « service ” ou « programme de garderie » ”.

Section 9 of the said regulations is amended by adding the following subsections immediately after subsection (3) “

(4) Despite subsection (1), a child care centre program may be permitted as a discretionary use subject to the provisions of a permit issued under

section 11, modified to suit the case.

(5) Despite subsection (1), the family day homes currently operating on Lot 199 Golden Horn Subdivision, Yukon Territory, Plan 77394, may continue to operate as non- conforming uses until such time as the uses come to an end or until the present owner disposes of the property by sale or by lease, whichever occurs earlier.” Dated at Whitehorse, Yukon, this 24th day of June, 2003.
