section of the Fair Practices Act and every enabling power, hereby approves the preferential employment program set out in the Snap Lake Diamond Project Socio-Economic Agreement signed by De Beers Canada Mining Inc. and the Government of the Northwest Territories on May 18, 2004 and tabled in the Legislative Assembly on May 26, 2004 by the Minister of Resources, Wildlife and Economic Development, as that Agreement is amended from time to time in accordance with its provisions.

Attendu que la priorité d’emploi dans l’industrie minière diamantifère est importante pour promouvoir le bien-être des peuples des Territoires du Nord-Ouest, le commissaire en Conseil exécutif, en vertu de l’article de la Loi prohibant la discrimination et de tout pouvoir habilitant, approuve le programme de priorité d’emploi décrit dans l’ Accord socio- économique relatif au projet Snap Lake Diamond, signé par le gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest et De Beers Canada Mining Inc. le mai et déposé devant l’Assemblée législative le mai par le ministre des Ressources, de la Faune et du Développement économique, avec ses modifications subséquentes.
