LOI SUR LES BOISSONS ALCOOLISÉES ULUKHAKTOK LIQUOR RESTRICTION REGULATIONS RÈGLEMENT SUR LES RESTRICTIONS RELATIVES AUX BOISSONS ALCOOLISÉES À ULUKHAKTOK The Commissioner, on the recommendation of the Minister, under

section of the Liquor Act and every enabling power, makes the Ulukhaktok Liquor Restriction Regulations. Le commissaire, sur la recommandation du ministre, en vertu de l’article de la

Loi sur les boissons alcoolisées et de tout pouvoir habilitant, prend le Règlement sur les restrictions relatives aux boissons alcoolisées à Ulukhaktok. 1. In these regulations, "restricted area" means all that portion of the Northwest Territories that lies within a radius of km from the Ulukhaktok Hamlet Office. 1. Dans le présent règlement, «secteur de restriction» s’entend de toute la

partie des Territoires du Nord- Ouest comprise dans un rayon de km du bureau de hameau d’Ulukhaktok. 2.

(1) Subject to subsection (3), no person shall bring into the restricted area, in any seven-day period, a quantity of liquor that exceeds the amounts described in any one of the following combinations: (

a) Combination 1: 1183 mL of spirits and sixteen mL containers of beer; (

b) Combination 2: 1183 mL of spirits and two litres of wine; (

c) Combination 3: sixteen mL containers of beer and two litres of wine; (

d) Combination 4: twenty-four mL containers of beer and mL of spirits. 2.

(1) Sous réserve du paragraphe (3), nul ne peut apporter dans le secteur de restriction, sur une période de sept jours, une quantité de boissons alcoolisées supérieure à l’une des combinaisons qui suivent :

a) Combinaison 1 : 1183 ml de spiritueux et contenants de bière de ml;

b) Combinaison 2 : 1183 ml de spiritueux et deux litres de vin;

c) Combinaison 3 :16 contenants de bière de ml et deux litres de vin;

d) Combinaison 4 : 24 contenants de bière de ml et ml de spiritueux.

(2) Subject to subsection (3), no person shall, at any time, possess within the restricted area a quantity of liquor that exceeds the amounts described in any one of the combinations set out in paragraphs (1)(

a) to (d).

(2) Sous réserve du paragraphe (3), nul ne peut, à tout moment, dans le secteur de restriction, être en possession d’une quantité de boissons alcoolisées supérieure à l’une des combinaisons mentionnées aux alinéas (1)

a) à d).

(3) The limits set out in the combinations described in subsection 2(1) do not apply to a person authorized by the Ulukhaktok Hamlet Council to bring into and possess in the restricted area greater quantities of liquor for consumption at a wedding, community dance or other special event. summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days or to both. 3. Quiconque contrevient à toute disposition du présent règlement commet une infraction et est passible, sur déclaration de culpabilité par procédure

sommaire, d’une amende maximale de 500 $ et d’une peine d’emprisonnement maximale de jours ou de l’une de ces peines. 4. These regulations (

a) come into force on June 16, 2008; and (

b) apply according to their terms before they are published in the Northwest Territories Gazette. 4.
