Whereas the Minister of Health and Social Services is of the opinion that there are rare and extenuating circumstances justifying the attached Smoke-Free Places Regulation, 2009 and it does not compromise the intent and purpose of the Act; and The Minister has recommended the Regulation to the Commissioner in Executive Council; and The Commissioner in Executive Council considers the Regulation necessary and advisable to carry out effectively the intent and purpose of the Act; Therefore, pursuant to

section 14 of the Smoke-Free Places Act, the Commissioner in Executive Council orders as follows 1. The attached Smoke-Free Places Regulation, 2009 is made 2. The Smoke-Free Places Regulation (O.I.C. 2008/114) is repealed. 3.
