Interpretation Définitions 1. In these regulations, "Act" means the Ophthalmic Medical Assistants Act; (Loi) "program" means the program entitled the Northwest Territories Ophthalmic Medical Assistants Training Program approved by the Minister. (program) Registration Inscription 2. An application for registration under subsection 11(1) of the Act shall be in the Form set out in the Schedule. 2. The prescribed certifying bodies for the purpose of paragraph 13(2)(

a) of the Act are (

a) the international body known as the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology; and (

(1) A person who is enrolled in the program may be admitted to

Part I of the Students Register. 5.

(1) Subject to the Act, a technologist may perform any activity identified in the program. 6.
