LOI SUR HABITATION TERRITOIRES DU NORD-OUEST FORT RESOLUTION HOUSING AUTHORITY ORDER ARRÊTÉ SUR L’OFFICE D’HABITATION DE FORT RESOLUTION 1. In this Order, "Authority" means the Fort Resolution Housing Authority, continued under

section 2. 1. S’entend au terme «office», l’office d’habitation de Fort Resolution prorogé en vertu de l’article 2. 2. The housing authority for the Hamlet of Fort Resolution called the Fort Resolution Housing Authority incorporated to operate within a radius of km from the northwest corner of lot 19-2 in the Hamlet of Fort Resolution as shown on a plan filed in the Land Titles Office for the Northwest Territories as number 320, is continued. R-060-2011,s.2. 2.

L’office d’habitation pour le hameau de Fort Resolution nommé «l’office d’habitation de Fort Resolution» et constitué pour poursuivre ses activités dans un rayon de km à partir de l’angle au nord-ouest du lot 19-2 situé dans le hameau de Fort Resolution, tel qu’indiqué sur un plan enregistré au Bureau des titres de biens-fonds pour les Territoires du Nord-Ouest sous le numéro 320, est prorogé. R-060-2011, art. 2. 3. The Authority shall be composed of not less than five and not more than members. 3. L’office se compose d’au moins cinq membres et d’au plus membres. 4. Each member has one vote. 4.

Chaque membre a droit à un vote. 5. A majority of the members may designate any member, other than the chairperson or vice-chairperson, as an officer of the Authority where they consider it necessary for the proper conduct of the business of the Authority. 5. Une majorité des membres peut désigner l’un d’eux, sauf le président ou le vice-président, à

titre d’officier de l’office, si les membres le juge nécessaire au bon fonctionnement de l’office. 6. The office of the Authority shall be in the Hamlet of Fort Resolution. R-060-2011,s.2. 6. Le siège de l’office est fixé dans le hameau de Fort Resolution. R-060-2011, art. 2. 7. The Authority may make bylaws governing the conduct of the business of the Authority, but no such bylaw is effective until it is approved by Housing Northwest Territories. R-060-2011,s.3; R-077-2023,s.2. 7. L’office peut, par règlement administratif, régir son activité.

La validité des règlements administratifs est subordonnée à leur approbation par Habitation Territoires du Nord-Ouest. R-077-2023, art. 2. 8. The Authority may, in addition to exercising its powers under the

Interpretation Act, (

a) acquire and hold, by way of lease or otherwise, such lands and buildings as may be necessary for the proper operation, management and maintenance of any housing project that may be lawfully assigned to it; (

b) maintain, repair and renovate the buildings comprising any housing project under its management and control; (

c) let and sublet land or premises held by it in accordance with the terms of leases whose forms have been approved by Housing Northwest Territories ; and 8. En plus d’exercer ses pouvoirs en vertu de la Loi d’interprétation, l’office peut :

a) acquérir et détenir, à

titre de bail ou autre instrument, tout terrain ou bâtiment nécessaire à l’exploitation, la gestion et l’entretien d’ensembles d’habitation qui lui sont cédés;

b) entretenir, réparer et rénover tout bâtiment d’ensembles d’habitation sous sa direction et son contrôle;

c) louer ou sous-louer, à

titre de bail, tout terrain ou logement qu’il détient sous forme approuvée par Habitation Territoires du Nord-Ouest; 1 (

d) employ, on the terms and conditions that the Authority may determine, any officer designated under

section 5, and any person that the Authority considers necessary to discharge its responsibilities. R-077-2023,s.2.
