section 42(

a) of the Financial Administration Act, Management Board Directive #28/13 is issued per MBM #13-11-05 as follows: AUTHORITY 1. This Directive is issued pursuant to

Section 42(

a) of the Financial Administration Act and only Management Board is authorized to amend it. TITLE 2. This Directive may be referred to as the Continuing Care Fees Directive.

DEFINITIONS 3. In this Directive: a) "Daily user fee" means the amount of money charged to clients for use of a service. b) "Continuing Care facility" means a facility that provides residential care and support to individuals who require some form of assistance with their activities of daily living, and monitoring and/or professional care throughout the day. There are currently four Continuing Care facilities in Yukon operated by the Yukon government, including: Macaulay Lodge, McDonald Lodge, Copper Ridge Place, and Thomson Centre.

c) For purposes of this directive, the daily user fee refers to the fee charged to clients for an overnight stay in a Government of Yukon Continuing Care facility as a contribution towards to the total operating cost.

d) Reference to "Continuing Care facilities" shall also be considered to include Yukon government owned and operated facilities that are not currently in existence but which may be built in the future. FEES 4. The fee as identified and described in Appendix A is hereby authorized. APPENDIX A 1. The daily user fee for Continuing Care facilities is $35.00. 2. The fee shall apply to both residential and respite stays. 3. The fee shall apply to all adult (19 years of age or older) clients in all Continuing Care facilities.
