California Superior Local Rules

Notes will include an identification of the parties involved in your matter, the relief sought, information that a report or objection has been filed, notice requirements, and a list of any deficiencies that need attention in your petition. • A petition with deficiencies will show up on your notes as a question or a statement preceded by the word ‘needs’. • Approximately 3 weeks before your hearing date, Probate Notes will be ready for your review. • Probate Notes will also inform you if you need to file a new document to correct or explain information to the Court. *Note: All additional requested documents must be filed at least court days before your hearing date. • If your hearing is continued, Probate Notes will be available again approximately 3 weeks before the next hearing.

How to Retrieve Probate Notes: • Start on the court’s public website www.occourts.org • Look for the tabs at the top of the page. Click on the tab • Follow the drop down menu and click on • Once you get the Probate Notes Page, enter your complete case number to review
