California Superior Local Rules

Parties are asked to review the proposals and provide feedback as to their content. Comments must be submitted in writing and may be submitted by letter mailed to the Chair of the Rules & Forms Committee or by web form. Information on where to submit comments will be provided when a comment cycle begins. Each comment cycle will have a deadline when comments must be submitted. It is important to adhere to this deadline; comments received after the deadline may not be considered by the Rules & Forms Committee.

The Rules & Forms Committee will review the comments and submit their final recommendations on the proposed rule changes to the Presiding Judge. The recommended rule changes are then placed on a ballot for majority approval by the judges. Links from this

section will include an Invitation to Comment from the Presiding Judge listing the rules being revised or added in this cycle; the proposed text of each rule being revised or added; and a link to the Comment web-form.
