RECITALS T he C ouncil of the City of San Diego (C ouncil) adopts this R esolution based on the following: A. Plaintiff Blanca Julia Delgado (Plaintiff) alleges she suff ered personal injuries when she tripped on a lif ted metal storm drain cover and fell into the exposed storm drain on the sidewalk on East San Ysidro Boulevard near the intersection of Camino De La Plaza.

The lawsuit is entitled B lanca Julia D elgado v. City o f San Diego, San Diego Superior Court Case N o. 24 CU0 220 25C (Litigation). B. In a closed session on M ay 1 1 ,20 26 , the City Council, by the following votes: Yeas, Districts 1 ,2, 3 ,5,6 ,7, 8 and 9; N ays, none; A bsent, District 4 ; approved the settlement of the Litigation for an amount consistent with the amount set forth below. ACTION ITEMS B e it resolved by the Council of the City of San Diego: 1 .
