STATE OF FLORIDA OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 26-114 (Emergency Management - Extension of Executive Order 26-33 - Impacts of Winter Weather, Droughts, and Wildfire Risks) WHEREAS, on February 9, 2026, I issued Executive Order 26-33, declaring a state of emergency in Florida due to the severe impacts of Winter Weather; and WHEREAS, from January 31 to February 3, 2026, a powerful winte1iime cold front moved across Florida, subjecting the entire State to prolonged freezing temperatures; and WHEREAS, several areas across the State set new record low temperatures throughout this period, with life-threatening and hazardous wind chills recorded nearly statewide; and WHEREAS, Florida continues to experience extreme drought conditions and widespread rainfall deficits across the State; and WHEREAS, such prolonged freezing temperatures and extreme weather conditions continue to impact Florida's agricultural industry and have contributed to increased wildfire activity; and WHEREAS, Executive Order 26-33, as subsequently extended by Executive Order 26-80, expires on June 9, 2026, unless extended; and WHEREAS, an extension of Executive Order 26-33 is necessary because recovery efforts and those affected by this disaster require the continued support of the State of Florida.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RON DESANTIS, as Governor of Florida, by virtue of the authority vested in me by A1iicle IV,

Section l(

a) of the Florida Constitution and by the Florida Emergency Management Act, as amended, and all other applicable laws, promulgate the following Executive Order to take immediate effect:

Section 1. The state of emergency and all provisions of Executive Order 26-33 are renewed for sixty (60) days following the date of this Executive Order.

Section 2. Except as amended herein, Executive Order 26-33 is ratified and reaffirmed.

Section 3. This Executive Order is effective immediately.
