An act relating to the Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance Program; amending s. 338.2278, 3 F.S.; revising the allocation of certain funds, for specified fiscal years, that result from increased revenues to the State Transportation Trust Fund; 6 providing an effective date. 7

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Paragraphs

(

c) and

(

d) of subsection (8) of

section 338.2278, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 12 338.2278 Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance Program.— 14

(8) The amounts identified in subsection (7) by fiscal year shall be allocated as follows: 16

c) For the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 fiscal years fiscal year, to the: 18 1. Small County Road Assistance Program, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 339.2816, with preference to projects in counties impacted by hurricanes; 21 2. Small County Outreach Program, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 339.2818, with preference to projects in counties impacted by hurricanes; 24 3. Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 427.0159; 26 4. Workforce development program, $2.5 million, to be used as specified in s. 334.044(35); and 28 5.

d) For the 2024-2025 2022-2023 fiscal year and each fiscal year thereafter, to the: 33 1. Small County Road Assistance Program, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 339.2816, with preference to projects in counties impacted by hurricanes; 36 2. Small County Outreach Program, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 339.2818, with preference to projects in counties impacted by hurricanes; 39 3. Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund, $10 million, to be used as specified in s. 427.0159; and 41 4. The remaining funds under this paragraph shall be used for the Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance Program, as specified in this section. 44

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021. 45
