An act relating to fees; amending s. 468.905, F.S.; 2 requiring an initial or renewal pet store license application to be accompanied by a specified nonrefundable license fee per licensed location; 5 providing a contingent effective date. 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Subsection (5) is added to

section 468.905, 10 Florida Statutes, as created by SB ___, 2022 Regular Session, to read: 12 468.905 Licensure of retail pet stores.— 13

(5) An initial or renewal application for a retail pet store license must be accompanied by a nonrefundable license fee not to exceed $25 per licensed location. 16

Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date that SB ___ or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law. 20
