An act relating to transportation facility designations; providing an honorary designation of a certain transportation facility in a specified county; 4 directing the Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an effective date. 6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. SPC Zachary L. Shannon Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— 12

(1) That portion of Alternate U.S. 19/Bayshore Boulevard/Edgewater Drive between Orange Street and Orangewood Drive in Pinellas County is designated as “SPC Zachary L. 15 Shannon Memorial Highway.” 16

(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating SPC Zachary L. Shannon Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1). 19

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023. 20
