An act relating to critically eroded beaches; 2 requiring the Department of Environmental Protection to update its list and report on critically eroded beaches in this state and the associated comprehensive long-term management plans to include certain beaches eroded by certain hurricanes and identified by the United States Army Corps of Engineers as critically eroded; providing an effective date. 9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

Section 1. The Department of Environmental Protection shall update its list and report on critically eroded beaches in this state and the associated comprehensive long-term management plans, pursuant to ss. 161.101 and 161.161, Florida Statutes, to include beaches in this state which were damaged by Hurricane Matthew in 2016, Hurricane Irma in 2017, and Hurricane Michael in 2018, and have been identified by United States Army Corps of Engineers as critically eroded beaches in this state. 20

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 21
