Section 627.72612, Florida Statutes, is created 11 to read: 12 627.72612 Prohibited rating factors.—An insurer providing 13 automobile liability coverage may not establish or maintain 14 rates or rating classifications for automobile insurance based 15 on any of the following: 16

(1) Sex. 17

(2) Marital status. 18

(3) Home ownership. 19

(4) Educational level. 20

(5) Occupation. 21

(6) The postal zone in which the insured resides. 22

(7) Credit score. 23

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026. 24
