An act relating to reporting lost or stolen firearms; 2 creating s. 790.402, F.S.; requiring individuals to report lost or stolen firearms to the local law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction in which the loss or theft occurred within a specified timeframe; 6 requiring such individuals to provide specified information to the local law enforcement agency; 8 requiring the local law enforcement agency to create an incident report upon receiving a report of a lost or stolen firearm; requiring an individual who reported a firearm lost or stolen to notify the local law enforcement agency to which the loss or theft was reported within a specified timeframe if the firearm is subsequently recovered; providing an effective date. 16 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 18
