Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9
Section 1. Paragraph
(
b) of subsection (1) of
section 11 1003.42, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 12 1003.42 Required instruction.— 13 (1) 14
(
b) All materials used to teach reproductive health or any disease, including HIV/AIDS, its symptoms, development, and treatment, as part of the courses referenced in subsection (5), 17 must be approved annually by a district school board in an open, 18 noticed public meeting the department. 19
