section 38 of the Youth Protection, introduced by the Director of Youth Protection, for the purposes of declaring that the security and the development of X are considered to be in danger for the following reasons: - The child is at a serious risk that the parents do not provide him with his basic needs; - The child is neglected on the health aspect because his father is not providing the care he requires according to his specific needs. [ 2 ] In support of his recommendations, the attorney for the Director of Youth Protection submits a report (D-1) prepared by the declarant [Social Worker 1]. [ 3 ] Given the evidence adduced consisted mainly in the filling of the social practitioner's report; [ 4 ] Given the consent of all parties with the social practitioner's recommendations; THEREFORE THE COURT : GRANTS the petition; DECLARES that the security and the development of the child are compromise for the motives alleged in the said petition; ORDERS that X be entrusted into the care of his paternal grandmother Mrs.

A till the end of the school year (June 30 th , 2013) and reintegration with the father if the situation permits; ORDERS that the contacts between X and his parents be according to the modalities established by the delegate of the Director of Youth Protection and supervised if judged necessary ORDERS that X obtain all the services required for his situation (all doctor's appointments, dentist appointments, social services and that he attends school daily); ORDERS that the father actively participates in a therapy for alcohol/drug dependencies that is recognized by Youth Protection and that he follow the recommendations that are offered; ORDERS that the father actively participates in a service in order to address is mental health and that he follow the recommendations that are offered; ORDERS that the father receive services in order to assist him in developing his parental capacities and abilities and that he puts into practice the recommendations that are offered;

RECOMMENDS that the mother receive the necessary services in order to address her situation (drug counselling, mental health, parental abilities) and that she applies the recommendations; ORDERS that the parents collaborate with all the services involved and actively participate in the elaboration and application of the intervention plan; ORDERS that the parents periodically report to the DYP in regards to the evolution of their situation and the steps taken in order to put an end to the situation compromising the security and/or development of their child; ORDERS that the person authorised by the Director of Youth Protection provides aid, counsel and assistance to the child and his family for the period of one year; ENTRUSTS the situation of the child to the Director of Youth Protection who shall then see that the measures are carried out. __________________________________ LOUISE TURPIN, J.C.Q.
