BY THE COURT: Judgment on Mr. Singh’s Application for Interim Release from custody by the Court – see page 3. Conclusion of the hearing.

Francesca Pierre-Antoine, Clerk JUDGMENT [ 1 ] SEEING the allegations of the Application; [ 2 ] SEEING the fact that Mr. Singh was granted bail as early as May 18, 2018, and has been complying with the bail conditions for over 27 months; and [ 3 ] SEEING that the Respondent does not contest the Application for Interim Release; FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 4 ] GRANTS the Application and ORDERS that Mr. Singh be released from custody on the following conditions:

a) Maintain cash deposit of $10,000 and recognizance of $100,000 without deposit by Satwant SIDHU at the Office of the Superior Court;

b) Keep the peace and be of good behavior and be present in Court whenever required;

c) Reside at […], L’Île-Perrot (Quebec) […];

d) Be at this address between 11pm and 6am except for legitimate work purposes or a medical emergency;

e) Not to change his residential address without having obtained the prior authorization of the Court or one of its judges;

f) Abstain from leaving the Province of Quebec;

g) Deposit or maintain deposit of his Canadian and Malaysian passports at the Office of the Superior Court and not to apply for any other passport or any travel document from any country;

h) Not to communicate or attempt directly or indirectly to communicate with Guy Deland and Aydan Sin except in the presence of their attorneys for the preparation of this case;

i) Report to the RCMP station located at 2200 Reverchon, suite 228, in Dorval, Quebec, between the hours of 9am and 4pm to sign the register every Friday, beginning on November 22, 2019;

j) Abstain from possessing or carrying for any reason whatsoever offensive or restricted weapons or imitation weapons, including starting guns, pellet guns, firearms, crossbows, prohibited weapons, restricted weapons, prohibited devices, ammunition, prohibited ammunition, explosive substances, knives (except in restaurants and for a legitimate purpose) or edged weapons;

k) Maintain landline number […] registered to […], L’Île-Perrot (Quebec) […], and answer any calls made by law enforcement during curfew;

l) Keep a copy of these conditions on his person at all times while outside his home;

m) Surrender himself into the custody of Rivière-des-Prairies detention centre within 24 hours of his attorney being informed, or him being informed if he is no longer represented by counsel, that the Court is ready to issue its decision in the appeal.
