I will not reproduce the oft cited case law on this issue or the relevant Civil Procedure Rules . [ 2 ] As is so often the case in family matters where there are a number of different issues, success was mixed.

This often results in the parties bearing their own costs. [ 3 ] However, the Petitioner did incur significant costs to get this matter before the court for a final resolution, some of which came about by agreement, and the rest by court order. [ 4 ] Under the circumstances I am ordering the Respondent to contribute the sum of $750.00 towards the costs incurred by the Petitioner to bring this matter to a conclusion. Gass, J.
