A wish that the adoption of the child X , of masculine sex, born on [...] , 2012 in City A , be pronounced. [1] An order for placement of the child was granted on April 30 th 2015. [ 2 ] Considering that the child lives with the petitioners, Mrs. B and Mr.

A since December 14, 2012; [ 3 ] Considering that the petitioners have more than 18 years of difference in age with the child; [ 4 ] Considering the testimony of the petitioners; [ 5 ] Considering that the petitioners wish that the child bear henceforth the name X ; [ 6 ] Considering that all the parties are in agreement with the adoption of the child; [ 7 ] Considering that the child considers Mrs. B and Mr.

A as his parents; [ 8 ] Considering the child's best interest and the respect of his rights; FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 9 ] GRANTS the motion for adoption; [ 10 ] REDUCES the delay of placement according to

article 566 of the Quebec Civil Code from six months to this day;

[ 11 ] PRONOUNCES the adoption of the child X in favour of the petitioners Mrs. B and Mr. A ; [ 12 ] ATTRIBUTE to the child the name and surnames of X ; [ 13 ] ORDERS that the clerk of the present court forward the certified copy of the judgement of adoption to the Registrar of civil status and to provide the latter all the information required to draw up a new act of birth in conformity to

article 129 of the Quebec Civil Code ; [ 14 ] ORDERS that the Registrar of civil status conforms itself to the prescriptions establish by the law for the end of the present judgement; [ 15 ] AUTHORIZES the petitioners to retrieve all documents produced in the court file within the legal delay.
