René Gutknecht, Clerk at the hearing JUDGMENT [ 1 ] On December 20 th , 2022, the Superior Court, Civil Division, district of Montreal, (the honorable Paul Mayer), granted respondents motion « afin de faire constater le désistement de la demanderesse et subsidiairement en rejet de sa demande en justic e ». [ 2 ] The appellant filed notices of appeal against that judgment. [ 3 ] In turn, respondents, by their respective motions, ask the Court to dismiss the appeals.

They mainly submit that these latter have no reasonable chance of success. [ 4 ] Considering the stringent standard of review the appellant would face on the merits and the grounds of appeal contained in her notices of appeal, the Court concludes unanimously that they have no reasonable chance to success.

[ 5 ] Thus, it is not necessary to analyze the other reasons alleged by respondents in support of their motions. FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 6 ] GRANTS respondents’ motions to dismiss the appeals, with judicial costs; [ 7 ] DISMISSES the appeals with judicial costs. MARTIN VAUCLAIR, J.C.A.
