[ 2 ] A judgment for placement of the child with the petitioner was rendered on December 21 st , 2016. [ 3 ] Considering the time that the child has lived with the petitioner prior to this judgment; [ 4 ] Considering that the petitioner has more than 18 years of difference in age with the child; [ 5 ] Considering the testimony of the petitioner; [ 6 ] Considering that the child has a positive evolution and is well adapted to the petitioner; [ 7 ] Considering that the conditions for the adoption of the child by the petitioner have been duly fulfilled;

[ 8 ] Considering the child's best interest and the respect of her rights; [ 9 ] Considering that the petitioner wishes that the child bears henceforth the following name X; FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 10 ] GRANTS the motion for adoption; [ 11 ] REDUCES the delay of placement according to

section 566 of the Québec Civil Code from six months to this day; [ 12 ] PRONOUNCES the adoption of the child X, born on […], 2012, in favour of the petitioner A; [ 13 ] ATTRIBUTES to the child the surnames and names X ; [ 14 ] ORDERS the Clerk of the Court to give notice of the judgment to the Registrar of Civil Status and to provide the latter all information enabling him to establish a new birth certificate in conformity to
