Maintain Jerry Peltier’s recognizance in the amount of $20,000 with the Superior Court registry; 2. Keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and appear in Court whenever required; 3. Abstain from applying for a passport or any other travel document from any country; 4.

s) Adam Scott Clerk BY THE JUDGE JUDGMENT [1] By judgment of the Superior Court dated June 28, 2017 (file 500-36-008180-161), the applicant was committed into custody “to await surrender to United States officials in order that he serve a sentence of 24 months imprisonment imposed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York on May 24, 2007” (para. 40 of said judgment). [2] Pursuant to s. 20, para. (
b) of the Extradition Act (“ EA ”) and s. 679 Cr.C. , the applicant seeks to be released pending the Minister’s decision under s. 40 EA . The respondent consents to the application as well as to the suggested conditions for release. I am of the view that the motion fulfils the criteria set out in s. 679 Cr.C. After discussion with the parties, certain modifications shall be made to the suggested release conditions. THEREFORE, THE UNDERSIGNED: [3] ABRIDGES the time limit for filing the application; [ 4 ] GRANTS the application;
[ 5 ] ORDERS the judicial interim release of the applicant pending the Minister’s decision, on the following conditions: 1.
