section 38 of the Youth Protection, introduced by the Director of Youth Protection, for the purposes of declaring that the security and the development of X are considered to be in danger for the following reasons: - The child is subjected to unreasonable methods of upbringing by his mother. [ 2 ] In support of his recommendations, the attorney for the Director of Youth Protection submits a report (D-1) prepared by the declarant Mrs [Social Worker 1] who testified to explain the motives that justify a period of one year for the application of the measures which it is base especially on the school year and the services that the mother require in relation with her mental health and her parenting abilities. [ 3 ] Given the report produced and the testimony of the social practitioner; THEREFORE THE COURT : GRANTS the petition; DECLARES that the security and the development of the child are compromise for the motives alleged in the said petition; ORDERS that X be entrusted to his father's care for a period of one year; ORDERS that the contacts between X and his mother be supervised until necessary and determined according to the CJ[A]'s modalities; RECOMMENDS that Mrs A receive services in order to help her develop new disciplinary measures; RECOMMENDS that Mrs A receive the services required by her personal situation (medical, psychological); RECOMMENDS that the child and his parents participate actively in the intervention plan's elaboration and application in order to ensure that the child's security and development are no longer compromised; RECOMMENDS that the mother is to report periodically to the DPJ of the means she is using in order to put an end to the situation of compromission; ORDERS that the person authorised by the Director of Youth Protection provides aid, counsel and assistance to the child and his family for a period of one year; ENTRUSTS the situation of the child to the Director of Youth Protection who shall then see that the measures are carried out. __________________________________ MICHEL SÉGUIN, J.C.Q.
