In the case of : X ([…], 1997) JUDGMENT ON A MOTION FOR REVISION (Sec 95(1) Youth Protection Act) [ 1 ] The Director of Youth Protection A C.Y.P.C. seeks the revision of an order made by this Court on August 24, 2010, placing the youth X in a Reception Center for a period of six months. [ 2 ] The father is in prison since August 24, 2010 and did not have any contact with the child since. [ 3 ] The mother, who knows she has to work on personal issues, is not making the necessary efforts to be able to get her daughters back.

Moreover the contacts between her and the child are low and irregular. [ 4 ] Even though the youth's behavioural problems have improved in the last six months, the youth still needs the structured environment of a group home to correct inappropriate behaviours she continues to display : confronting others, lacking respect to others, sniffing gas, having difficulties to comply with the rules and the structure. [ 5 ] FOR THESE REASONS THE COURT : [ 6 ] GRANTS the motion for revision; [ 7 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the youth X are still endangered; [ 8 ] ORDERS that the youth be maintained in an institution operating a Rehabilitation Center for a period of 6 months; [ 9 ] ORDERS that the youth receive the health and psychological services she needs; [ 10 ] ORDERS the mother to participate and collaborate in the application of the proposed measures in order to correct the situation; [ 11 ] ORDERS that aid, counsel, and assistance be provided to the youth and her family; [ 12 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of the youth to the D.Y.P. in order to see that the measures are carried out; [ 13 ] The whole for a period of six months.
