Any person who contravenes this provision commits an offence and is liable to a fine (sections 11.2, 11.2.1 and 135 Y.P.A.). [ 1 ] On October 7 th , 2021, the undersigned ratified a draft agreement between the parties and ordered that the child be entrusted to her father. The order also provides for contacts modalities between the child and her mother, with a social follow-up of ten months. [ 2 ] The Director is now seeking to extend the protection measures for a period of 8 months.

All parties agree and they submit to the Court a draft agreement in that regard. [ 3 ] The facts outlined in the draft agreement confirm that the security and development of the child remain endangered; the facts also support the extension of the decision rendered on October 7 th , 2021. [ 4 ] The draft agreement reflects the parties’ intent while respecting the objectives of the Youth Protection Act . It meets the needs of the child and is respectful of her rights.

The Court has verified the free and informed consent of the parties and their commitment to abide by the measures outlined in the agreement. [ 5 ] FOR THOSE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 6 ] GRANTS the motion; [ 7 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the child remain endangered; [ 8 ] EXTENDS the decision rendered by this Court on October 7 th , 2021; [ 9 ] RATIFIES the draft agreement, which forms an integral part of this judgment; [ 10 ] ORDERS the implementation of the measures contained in the draft agreement; [ 11 ] ORDERS the parties to comply with the measures; [ 12 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of the child to the Director of Youth Protection for the execution of this judgment.
