Mélahelle Sicotte, Clerk at the hearing JUDGMENT [ 1 ] The Appellant seeks permission to file an amended version of the argument included in his memorandum. After discussion at the hearing, the Appellant made some additional amendments. [ 2 ] The Appellant is essentially withdrawing one ground of appeal and is clarifying his conclusions. The Respondent contests the Appellant’s position, but does not contest the amendments. [ 3 ] In my view, the amendments help to clarify the debate between the parties and should be allowed.

FOR THESE REASONS, THE UNDERSIGNED: [ 4 ] GRANTS the Appellant’s application; [ 5 ] AUTHORIZES the Appellant, after notification to the Respondent, to file with the Office of the Court, no later than November 27, 2020, five copies of the amended argument included in his memorandum; [ 6 ] THE WHOLE , without judicial costs, given the nature of the proceedings.
