Any person who contravenes this provision commits an offence and is liable to a fine (sections 11.2, 11.2.1 and 135 Y.P.A.). [ 1 ] The Court hereby confirms et motivates in writing the decision rendered on the bench on February 24, 2016, on a Application for review and extension of the measures regarding Y (6 years old) , Z (3 months old) and X (1 ½ year old). [ 2 ] On June 15, 2016, the Court entrusted the children to their mother, with different measures to help them, and prohibited the parents to drink alcohol or to be under the influence of substances in the presence of their daughter. [ 3 ] On June 24 th 2016, a conflict erupted between the parents. [ 4 ] After that event, the mother expressed the desire to go to a therapy center for a healing session. [ 5 ] She registered and will begin therapy in Montreal on July 18 th for six weeks. [ 6 ] The mother chose a family member to take care of her children during her therapy. [ 7 ] It is in the best interest of the children to review the order to allow the mother to go to therapy. [ 8 ] The Court concludes that the children’s security and development remain in danger under the law due to serious risks of negligence and exposure to abuse given her parents’ relationship.

The application, to which the parties consent, is in the best interest of the children, and thus should be granted. FOR THESES REASONS, THE COURT : GRANTS the present petition;

REVIEWS and EXTENDS the last order; DECLARES that the security and the development of the children remain in danger; REITERATES every measure in the court order of June 15 th 2016; ALLOWS the mother to entrust her child to her grandmother C during her therapy; ENTRUSTS the situation of the child to the Director of Youth Protection for the execution of the present order. __________________________________ LOUISE GALLANT, J.C.Q.
