section 95 of the Youth Protection Act. [ 2 ] At the hearing, the adolescent is present with her lawyer.
She admits the situation described at the petition and accepts the recommendations of the Director of youth protection. [ 3 ] The mother is absent and unrepresented. [ 4 ] The father is absent but did send a letter in which he agrees with the proposed measures. [ 5 ] The Court studied the psychosocial report and its complement, a psychiatric report as well as incidents reports from the rehabilitation center and a police occurrence report. [ 6 ] Considering this documentary evidence and the position of the adolescent and her father, the Court grants the petition in the sense of the recommendations of the Director of youth protection. [ 7 ] As X will turn eighteen next week, it is important, as mentioned at the hearing, that she be referred by the Director of youth protection to all available resources for young adults in taking into account the particulars of her personal and health situation.
WHEREFORE, THE COURT : [ 8 ] DECLARES that the security and the development of X are still considered to be in danger according to
section 38 of the Youth Protection Act ; [ 9 ] ORDERS that X be entrusted to a rehabilitation center designated by the Director of youth protection ; [ 10 ] AUTHORIZES short stays of X in an hospital, not exceeding five (5) days at time when needed, in order to stabilize X's situation ; [ 11 ] ORDERS that X benefits from a psychological and psychiatric follow-up for as long as deemed necessary by the professionals ; [ 12 ] ORDERS that the father benefits from a follow-up with an external educator for parenting skills and home support ; [ 13 ] ORDERS that a person working for an organism or an establishment provides aid, counsel and assistance to X and her family ; [ 14 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of to the Director of youth protection of the Centre A until […], 2012 (date of her majority) for the carrying out of the present measures. __________________________________ ROBERT LEVESQUE, J.C.Q.
