[ 1 ] JP2122 X is only 15, but he has to cope with serious problems. [ 2 ] He was entrusted to a rehabilitation centre from June 2012 until last winter. [ 3 ] On March 15, 2013, the Court orders that the adolescent be entrusted to his mother and that the follow-up go on for one year. [ 4 ] Unfortunately, things deteriorate shortly after. [ 5 ] X is frequently absent from school. He damages his mother's apartment during an outburst of anger.

He drinks, takes drugs, hangs out with a gang and refuses to comply with any rules. [ 6 ] He is entrusted to a rehabilitation centre, on a provisional basis. [ 7 ] The mother also has personal issues to deal with. [ 8 ] Currently, X shows appropriate behaviour in the A Unit where he resides. Hopefully, he will keep on that way. [ 9 ] Nevertheless, the evidence reveals that a family setting cannot answer X 's needs, for the time being. The director of youth protection asks to entrust the adolescent to a rehabilitation centre for the next six months. The youth agrees with that request.

Several months in a more structured environment will provide X with professional and intensive help required by his situation. [ 10 ] The petition is well founded. THEREFORE, THE COURT: [ 11 ] GRANTS the present petition; [ 12 ] DECLARES that the security and development of X are still considered to be in danger according to

section 38 of the youth protection act; [ 13 ] REVISES the court order rendered on March 15, 2013; [ 14 ] ORDERS that X be entrusted to a rehabilitation centre until February 28, 2014; [ 15 ] ORDERS that X and his family benefit from psychological counselling to deal with their personal issues; [ 16 ] RECOMMENDS that X and his mother participate in a drug/alcohol assessment and treatment if deemed necessary; [ 17 ] ORDERS that X and his mother actively participate in the application of the measure intended to put an end to the situation of endangerment; [ 18 ] ORDERS that a person working for an establishment or an organism provide aid, counsel and assistance to the adolescent X and his family until February 28, 2014; [ 19 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of X to the director of youth protection of the Centre Jeunesse A for the carrying out of the present measures.
