s) Court clerk BY THE JUDGE: JUDGMENT [ 1 ] CONSIDERING that the appeal raises serious questions, that the appellant’s right to make full answer and defence to criminal charges is at stake, and that the Court will set an early hearing date of the appeal.

FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS , THE UNDERSIGNED: [ 2 ] GRANTS the motion to stay proceedings. [ 3 ] ORDERS the stay of proceedings before the Quebec City Municipal Court in case 17CC011335, until the final disposition of the appeal. [ 4 ] PLACES the case on the role of April 3, 2019, in courtroom 4.33, at 9:30 a.m. to be pleaded without factums. [ 5 ] ORDERS the appellant, after having served a copy upon the respondent, to file at the Office of the Court no later than January 15, 2019 , five copies of the documents that ordinarily constitute Schedules I, II and III of the factum, including today’s judgment, a book of authorities and, if applicable, an argument no longer than 15 pages in length. [ 6 ] ORDERS the respondent, after having served a copy upon the appellant, to file at the Office of the Court no later than February 19, 2019 , five copies of the documents that ordinarily constitute Schedules I, II and III of the factum, a book of authorities and, if applicable, an argument no longer than 15 pages in length. [ 7 ] ORDERS the parties to file their documents on a 21.5 cm x 28 cm (8½ x 11 inch) format, with a minimum of one and one half

spaces between the lines, except for quotations that are single spaced and indented. The computer type face shall be 12 point. [ 8 ] ORDERS that the documents produced include a page of presentation, a table of contents and a continuous pagination. [ 9 ] ENCOURAGES the parties to attach a technological version of the documents and the book of authorities to each copy of the paper version of these documents. This technological version must be made in Word and/or PDF format (if available, the Word version is recommended) allowing search by keywords and be recorded on a material support.
