Her mother, B is the only parent recognized on the youth’s birth certificate. [ 3 ] The biological mother, A is homeless in City A . [ 4 ] The youth was adopted by Ms C .

In November 2010, Ms C died from a long illness. [ 5 ] In September 2015 and August 2019, the youth was entrusted to Ms D by the Court until her majority. [ 6 ] On October 29 th 2019, the youth was entrusted to a rehabilitation centre until June 12 th 2020. [ 7 ] It is in the best interest of the youth that the Director of Youth Protection be appointed as tutor of the youth. [ 8 ] FOR ALL THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 9 ] GRANTS the application; [ 10 ] APPOINTS the Director of Youth Protection A as tutor of the youth; [ 11 ] ENTRUSTS the youth, X to the Director of Youth Protection A ; [ 12 ] ORDERS the execution of the present judgment notwithstanding appeal.
