[ 2 ] Since the last court order, the youth has remained in a reception center treatment facility. [ 3 ] The relationship between the youth and her mother is still conflictual.
He continues to be rude and obnoxious towards her
mother. [ 4 ] The youth's home visits are inconsistent and are less than 24 hours, which is due to the youth's behavior and her mother's health problems. [ 5 ] At one point, the mother was exhausted after the visits of her daughter because she does not follow household rules and because of her behavior.
But now, the situation is getting better during the visit. [ 6 ] The mother has not accessed services to help her to improve her skills in parenting the youth and she admits that she does not want to participate in that kind of program. [ 7 ] The youth has an imaginary friend called Y that tells her to kill her mother. [ 8 ] The youth's behavior in school has improved and is a better fit for her then schools in the community.
At times, the youth is reluctant in follow through with her expectations at the Residential Treatment Program however she does comply when they redirect her. [ 9 ] The court is convinced that the security and development of the youth are still in danger because of a situation of neglect and because of the youth's behavior.
The recommendations of the youth protection director are appropriate and in the interest of the youth. [ 10 ] Considering the admissions and after the reading of the report, the court is satisfied and therefore: [ 11 ] MAINTAINS the present motion; [ 12 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the youth X are still in danger; [ 13 ] EXTENDS the Court order rendered on July 5, 2010; [ 14 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of the adolescent X to the youth protection director of Les Centres jeunesse A for the execution of the measures for a period of one year: [ 15 ] ORDERS that the youth be entrusted in a reception center and TAKES NOTE that the adolescent is attending a therapeutic center; [ 16 ] ORDERS that aid, counsel and assistance be provided to the youth and his family; [ 17 ] AUTHORIZES the contacts between the youth and her mother upon agreement between he parties and TAKES ACT that sleep over will be integrated and maintained if the situation permits it; [ 18 ] ORDERS that the youth and her mother take an active
part in the application of the measures; [ 19 ] ORDERS that the youth attend school; [ 20 ] RECOMMENDS that the mother attend nurturing parenting program; [ 21 ] RECOMMENDS that the mother participate on the child's programming and attend counselling and mediation sessions when required; [ 22 ] RECOMMENDS that the youth attend counselling services; [ 23 ] THE WHOLE without costs. __________________________________ LINDA DESPOTS, J.C.Q.
