Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada was thereupon asked to furnish the Court with written confirmation of the foregoing by no later than Friday morning, September 23. [ 2 ] Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada has provided written confirmation to the Court to the effect that the applicants have attorned to the jurisdiction of the United States courts and are currently in the United States. The present matter has therefore become academic.
